When you make a booking, the currency you pay in depends on your billing country. Here's how it works:
- The billing country helps decide which payment options are available to you.
- Make sure the billing address you enter matches the billing country.
- Keep in mind, that your home address doesn’t determine the billing currency. To be charged in the right currency, the billing address you provide should match the country associated with your payment method.
Bookings made via the Busbud App (iOS or Android)
When booking through our app, the billing currency is set based on your phone’s region settings. To make sure you’re billed in the right currency, check your phone’s region settings.
Here’s how to update your region:
- iPhone: Go to Settings --> General --> Language & Region.
- Android: Go to Settings --> Language & Input or Language & Region --> Region or Country.
Example: If you want to be billed in Canadian dollars (CAD), set your phone’s region to "Canada."
